Desigual on Broadway

The Europe-ification of Broadway in SoHo continues. First Top Shop, now Desigual. While I do love the avant garde styles and bright colors of both of these shops, I am kind of sad that I now have such easy access to them. The fact that stores like this were only available when I travelled was exciting. It was nice to know that if I found a fun, funky piece while abroad, I would come home with something unique. Now, I can walk half a block from the F train to get these styles, and so can everybody else. I still love the UK and Europe for so many reasons, but the mystique of travel is slowly being eroded as globalization takes over. What fun will it be to go in these shops when I'm abroad now that they are accessable during my daily commute?
