Mötley Crüe - The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel - 12 February

Somehow this show didn't have the high energy level that I had expected and hoped for, but it was still a sight to behold, including the 360 Coaster, floating acoustic session, flying Vince Neil, mirrored piano, and hologram Mick Marses. I can't say that I love The Joint as a venue - it's rather cavernous and soulless. The real benefit of planing a trip around a Sunday night Crüe show was that it left room to see Calvin Harris on Saturday night. And even if The Joint is a bit lacking, the Hard Rock Hotel itself is not, and I probably wouldn't have ever ventured that far off The Strip to check it out if not for this show.
