The Twelve Dates of Christmas, Jenny Bayliss: This is a super cute Xmas rom-com novel. Despite the cover style, I wouldn’t quite call this a contemporary romance, but it was giving me some OG Bridget Jones vibes, and reminds me of the movie The Holiday a bit as well. This book has everything: quaint English villages, coffee shops, bad / awkward dates, baking, car trouble, mothers running off to the Caribbean and getting arrested, and lots of holiday cheer.

"Leave Before You Love Me", Marshmello x Jonas Brothers: A solid down-tempo pop song with great lyrics. Blows me away with how good it is every time I listen to it.
"2011", 5 Seconds of Summer: 5SOS coming through with a timely nostalgic release featuring the refrain "back to the days when the days were better" – and who among us can't relate to that? 2011 was a pretty darn good year, and it's hard to believe it was a full ten years ago.
🎬 Film
House of Gucci: This film is worthwhile simply for Adam Driver's excellent performance, and the scene where he flees to Switzerland on his motorcycle... while wearing signature Gucci loafers... in the winter. Nothing says "wealth" like being able to escae to your St. Moritz home at a moment's notice, which sums up the seductive glamour showcased by this uneven, but highly enjoyable, film.
Red Rocket: This is a challenging movie to watch because while Simon Rex gives an absolutely brilliant performance, the character he plays is actually pretty terrible, treats those around him horribly, and doesn't take responsibility for anything. As light and breezy as the film seems on the surface (it makes liberal use of "Bye Bye Bye" by NSYNC), it actually provides a lot to unpack emotionally and psychologically.
