Artists of the Month
- Kylie Minogue: I revisted her X album and found "All I See" and "Stars" totally addictive
- Hot Leg: Justin Hawkins, of The Darkness, has a new band. They sound like The Darkness, only more 80's, which I find perfect for spring break, even though that doesn't really exist anymore for me, but if it did, then I have discovered their album, Red Light Fever, just in time. Fave tracks are "Whichever Way You Want To Give It," "Cocktails," and "Automatic" (a B-side from their single)
- Calvin Harris: fun to follow on Twitter

Books
- Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, Patrick Hamilton: this book is now one of my top five favorites. So well written, so captivating, and the format of three short novels that are interconnected is something a little bit different. It also made me miss London a lot.
- Complete Stories, Dorothy Parker: after Hamilton's luminous prose, Parker seemed a bit of a clunker to me. However, both she and Hamilton wrote in the 30's and one thing that their writings have in common is that they illustrate how much people and society have stayed the same over the past 80 years.
