TCU Horned Frogs: Rose Bowl Champs and #2 overall for the season in multiple polls
LSU Tigers: Cotton Bowl Champs
Auburn Tigers: National Champs
In conclusion, the 2010-2011 college football season has been a great one for the Heller family. I still can't believe I got to see the Frogs triumph in person - what a special trip out west indeed and one of the best starts to a new year that I could ask for. It's a shame Michigan State and Texas A&M didn't win bowl games too, but seeing as how A&M was playing LSU, somebody had to be the loser there. Not sure what Michigan State's excuse is though.
Being at the Rose Bowl made me realize how much I miss watching live college football (no annoying announcers and I can follow the action so much more smoothly). Too bad I now live in the wrong part of the country to do that regularly, but it's just another reason to visit Fort Worth sooner rather than later (other reasons: Whataburger, Railhead brisket, Uncle Julio's mesquite grilled frog's legs, La Playa Maya's cheese enchiladas).
